Bikini Season

So we've had our first glimpse of sun! FINALLY! YAY! That means as much as I love it in winter, less opting for a night in in your warm, fluffy PJ's with a film/TV series and a hot drink, and more BBQ's and drinks in pub gardens at the end of the day.

This also means that the equally loved and hated Bikini season is almost upon us! Whilst we've spent winter being lazy; spring/summer is going to make us want to release our inner Victoria's Secret model (no matter how deeply hidden she is!)
Myself, I'm going to get back into my healthy routine that I intended on starting at New Year as a resolution so I can proudly prance around in my bikini on a nice sunny beach somewhere in a couple of months time.
One of the best motivators to get you started on your fit kick is buying new gym gear (I personally want new trainers).
So I hit the Nike outlet store and bought these beauties!!
Pssst. They were only £15!

Nike are my favourite for gym gear and have been for a long time, however Missguided's sale is persuading me to try otherwise with their Activewear hitting the sales! So hopefully my bank account will handle it, as it's all for a reasonable spending cause...Fitness and Motivation!

Most importantly on this post though is how I plan on creating a bikini body in 2 months. Unfortunately my university gym isn't great (unless you want to be in the at 7am, because no student in their right mind would be in there then!) so I cancelled my membership. Although the classes were amazing, offering almost everything.
I was hoping to get my bikini body from the comfort of my own house. I have a yoga mat and kettle bells (Lidl are surprisingly good for cheap gym gear) so I can just crack on.I have a free app from the App Store, which I love! It's only maximum of 10 minutes out of your day per exercise (specialised to chosen body part) but it's amazingg!!

I also discovered this DVD (that I swear by!) in Morrisons!

Although you can get it on Amazon it's relatively cheap (at around £5 dependent on where you buy it), only 10 minutes and has already shown amazing results! I tend to go in heavy with the Blast Off Belly Fat DVD, doing their 'Six Pack Ab' Exercise almost daily and I love it! The Target Toning DVD is also brilliant (but you need dumbbells).

I'm also not much of a runner so signed up to do the Race For Life Pretty Muddy run. I have done a charity run every year since 2013, but find I struggle with actual running unless I have to on the day...Typical! However, as I am currently seaside based I will be pounding the seafront in my new trainers in preparation, with one of my house mates and my Fitbit Zip in tow to motivate me.

Currently, I am loving green smoothies or berries for breakfast and green tea after most meals to help clear my body out. I will be having a boozy weekend this weekend, but will be hitting this properly after. I need all the super-food I can get to pass my exams anyway. Ha.

So hopefully in time I will end up looking like the beautiful Reene Somerfield (who I know is in the middle of a controversy at the mo in the UK, which coincidentally I disagree with, as it's the much hated issue of 'Body Shaming' rearing it's ugly head again. But I still think she's still amazing).
