As Christmas is only around the corner, everyone is beginning to plan Christmas party/Christmas day/New Years Eve outfits. And what more to be the staple to the Christmasy season but glitter and sequins?! 

This time every year the shops are adorned with embellished/glittery/sequinned items for us all to sigh over, and then finally raise the funds to purchase said items to ensure we look show stopping on our sparkly holiday. This year though we have a new edition to the sigh-able and desirable attire for the Christmas season...Feathers and Faux Fur! 

Think 90s trends à la Cher Horowitz and Carrie Bradshaw.

The trimming continues but with faux fur, with capes again like last year (which I'm a sucker for my Zara one)

 but also moves into trimming the hem of skirts! Which I am 100% considering.

So when it comes to Christmas/new year outfit shopping, don't over look the trimmings. Glitter and Sparkle are safe options to dazzle but I will be adding these pieces to my potential list to ensure make an entrance with a difference.
